Kidnapping in Mindanao, this has become somewhat a normal occurrence
And of course, the NPA(New Peoples Army) the communist militants, are kicking off in Negros, the neighbouring island to Cebu.

I have been warned to expect a lot more goings on on the political front coming up the elections in May 2010. There's even talk of Martial Law being imposed on the whole country(already in some Cities). And if you have read my previous blog, people dont like this. So there is also talk of revolution.
So from natural disasters, to political mass assassinations. Things are really heating up here.
Interesting time to live here, reminds me of a film. Cant remember the name.
I checked out the news from home. The roads are icy, and civil servants want to strike.
